About International_Studies_Council	English (USA)
The International Studies Council is committed to furthering the student body of Washington College as well as the community's knowledge of global affairs and the United Nations. Through debate, model UN conferences, forums, and trips to both our nation's capital as well as other sites of international importance, the International Studies Council will continue to strive in our efforts to prepare our graduates for a more globally conscious world. The student-run Council is open to individuals of all majors who demonstrate a passion for international affairs. In the words of former Secretary General of the United Nations, Kofi Annan, "We may have different religions, different languages, different colored skin, but we all belong to one human race."
