The default voicemail password, as it stands, is easy to guess and thus
poses a security problem for faculty and staff members. Therefore, it's
recommended that all faculty and staff change their voicemail password as
soon as possible, in order to avoid any tampering with personal messages.
1. Login to your Washington College voice mail.
2. Dial 84. The system will say "Password change." Your new password must
be 4 to 16 digits. Be SURE to memorize or make a note. The system
administrators here on campus will NOT know your password once it has been
changed. Enter your new password followed by the pound sign (#).
3. The system will say "Please enter your new password again, followed by
#." Reenter the password. The system will say "To confirm the change,
please enter your old password, followed by #." Enter the old password
followed by the #. The system will then respond with "Your password has
been changed." From now on use your new password to log in.
Note: It is highly recommended that the first thing you do once you log
into your voicemail is to change your password. This will prevent any risks
to your privacy.
